Program Overview and Application Guidelines

Since 1995, our centre has been appointed by the Employee Retraining Board (ERB) as a training institution to provide comprehensive services to qualified employees in Hong Kong who are 15 years of age or above and have sub-degree or lower educational qualifications. Services include employment counseling, training courses, job referral, and follow-up services. So far, we have trained over 37,000 students in Hong Kong. Our organization has received awards such as the Employment Service Award, Course Management Award, and Course Development Award from ERB in the past. From 2018 to 2020, we have received the Certificate of Continuous Excellence in Course Quality Assurance for three consecutive years. Our excellent performance is thanks to the support of our tutors, employer partners, and students. Our training centres are located in Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, and Chai Wan, offering training courses in various industries, including healthcare, home services, hospitality, property management and security, catering, traditional Chinese medicine, beauty, environment services, education and sports, social services, performing arts and culture, business, information technology, and vocational language.

Basic Admission Requirements

The basic admission requirements include being 15 years old or above, having educational qualifications up to sub-degree level or below, and fulfilling the specific entry requirements of individual courses. Applicants for the Employment Support Scheme Courses must be unemployed/underemployed/displaced persons.

Note 1: Students who are currently studying or enrolled in Employment Support Scheme Courses can also apply for or enrol in more than one Evening Basic Skills (Vocational Languages, Information Technology Applications) Course at the same time.

Note 2: Students who are currently studying or enrolled in Non-Employment Support Scheme Courses can also apply for or enrol in more than one Non-Employment Support Scheme Course at the same time.

Training Allowance / Tuition Subsidy.

Employment Support Scheme Courses

Full tuition fee waiver

Students who have an attendance rate of 80% or above are eligible to apply for a training allowance.

Non-Employment Support Scheme Courses

Applicants who have no income or a monthly income of $12,000 or below are eligible to apply for Fee Waiver (with attendance rate of 80% or above).

Individuals with a monthly income of $12,001 - $20,000 may apply for High Subsidy Tuition Fees (with attendance rate of 80% or above).

Individuals with a monthly income of $20,001 or above are required to pay General Subsidy Tuition Fees.

Employment Services for Students

Our center provides employment counseling and referral services for all students who have completed Employment Support Scheme Courses. Employment counseling officers will provide information on job vacancies and assist students in finding suitable employment based on their individual experiences, skills, personality, and job preferences. Our center also provides employment support services for graduates, including job resources (job vacancy boards, online matching platforms, and the latest course information), online job vacancies, and employment event information.
