About Us
Service Objective
Carry forward the spirit of Christ and develop sustainable developmental and supportive services for grassroots families, children, youth and the elderly in Hong Kong Island.
Service Scope
Support the living needs of grassroots families on Hong Kong Island, provide in-kind assistance, and relieve difficulties
Support the developmental needs of children and adolescents from grassroots families on Hong Kong Island, provide them with support services for sustainable development, and improve the differences caused by economic difficulties
Establish a mutual support network for grassroots families, implement groups and activities in various units, and help them find long-term and reliable community support in the community
To provide health-related primary prevention services to the elderly from grassroots families on Hong Kong Island.
Target Audience
Families residing in Hong Kong Island and meeting any of the following conditions:
- Poor economic conditions include receiving CSSA, book allowance, Working Family Living Allowance; or
- Difficult housing includes public housing tenants, households of subdivided flats/cubicles, rented housing (rent accounts for 50% or more of the total household income), squatters; or
- Special needs care groups include single-parent families with at least one child with special learning needs, family members with chronic medical conditions; or
- Special living/economic needs as assessed by social worker
